Job Summary
We are seeking an organized Accounts & Administration Assistant with experience in the shipping or maritime sector. You will handle daily financial bookings, bank reconciliations, employee travel bookings and general office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting: Book daily purchases, track port/vessel operational expenses and perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Reporting: Assist in compiling data and preparing weekly/monthly MIS reports.
- Travel & Visa: Handle flight/hotel bookings and coordinate specialized visa processing for employees.
- Admin Support: Manage shipping documentation filing, office inventory, couriers, and daily administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience within the shipping, logistics, or maritime industry.
- Familiarity with shipping-specific expenses (e.g., freight, port dues, customs charges).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
