Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that applications meet the required specifications and standards. You will engage in problem-solving activities, providing innovative solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience. Additionally, you will oversee the development process, ensuring that timelines are met and quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will also include mentoring junior team members and facilitating communication between stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Canadian Payroll.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) Global Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, Workday Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and compliance regulations.
- Experience in application configuration and customization.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot payroll-related issues effectively.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Canadian Payroll.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
