Sterilization & Disinfection
- Clean, disinfect, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ETO machines, and plasma sterilizers.
- Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain proper sterilization records.
- Ensure all instruments are sterile and ready for surgical procedures.
Instrument Handling
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage.
- Assemble surgical sets and trays according to departmental requirements.
- Maintain proper labeling and packaging of sterile items.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of sterile and contaminated materials.
Infection Control
- Follow hospital infection control protocols and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Maintain aseptic techniques during packing and handling of sterile items.
- Ensure proper segregation of contaminated and sterile materials.
Documentation & Inventory
- Maintain sterilization logs, records, and equipment maintenance documentation.
- Track instrument inventory and report shortages or damages.
- Coordinate with OT, wards, OPD, and other departments for supply requirements.
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of CSSD equipment.
- Report malfunctioning equipment to the concerned department immediately.
- Ensure proper functioning and calibration of sterilization machines.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to hospital safety policies and NABH infection control standards.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Participate in departmental audits, training, and quality improvement activities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹26,230.07 per month
