Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing / Business Development

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing professional to drive business development and sales of Ion Exchange Resins, Water Treatment Chemicals, and Special Application Resins across industrial segments. The role involves customer acquisition, relationship management, technical sales, and market development in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and develop a strong customer base in the assigned territory.
- Promote and sell Ion Exchange Resins, Water Treatment Chemicals, and Special Application Resins to industries such as Water Treatment, Power, Pharma, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Textile, Electronics, and Process Industries.
- Identify customer requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, trials, and technical discussions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and channel partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Coordinate with technical, production, and logistics teams for smooth order execution and customer support.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry / B.E. / B.Tech Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in sales and business development of Ion Exchange Resins, Water Treatment Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Process Chemicals, or Industrial Products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of industrial water treatment processes will be preferred.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Travel Requirement
- Candidate should be willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Must be ready to undertake 15–20 days of field travel per month.
