Qualification - BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in design and GD&T
Salary - 25,000 to 35,000 / Per month
Location - Coimbatore
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GD&T concepts and symbols.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools and instruments.
- Basic knowledge of CMM operation (preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct dimensional inspection as per GD&T requirements.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation.
- Identify defects and coordinate with production or quality teams for corrective actions.
- Handle first article inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection.
- Work with CMM (manual/automatic) for precise measurement (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with ISO and quality standards.
