Job Description – Hywa Driver
Position: Hywa Driver (Tipper Truck Driver)
Department: Operations / Transportation
Location: Project Site / Plant Location
Job Summary:
The Hywa Driver is responsible for safely operating Hywa (Tipper) vehicles for transportation of municipal solid waste (MSW), compost, RDF, soil, construction materials, and other project-related materials. The driver must ensure timely movement of materials while adhering to safety, traffic, and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Hywa/Tipper vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials between collection points, processing plants, landfills, and designated sites.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after operations.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow traffic rules, safety regulations, and company SOPs.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials.
- Maintain trip sheets, logbooks, fuel records, and vehicle documents.
- Coordinate with supervisors, weighbridge operators, and site personnel.
- Report accidents, breakdowns, or delays promptly.
- Assist in emergency situations as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience driving Hywa/Tipper trucks.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with road safety regulations.
- Ability to work in shifts and at project sites.
- Physically fit and capable of working in challenging environments.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in waste management, mining, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Experience operating vehicles with GPS and fleet management systems.

Salary: As per company norms and experience.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,578.00 per month
