About the Opportunity
Frontend is not a support function at Gracia. It is central to how we design and ship products, and we are scaling that capability.
We are looking for a UI/UX & Frontend Developer – Figma, React, Flutter & Full Stack who can take a product idea, design it in Figma, and then build it into a production-grade web or mobile application without hand-holding at any stage. This is an end-to-end ownership role. You will design the interface, translate it into working code, integrate it with backend systems, and ship features that actually work, not just visually but functionally, for the business using them.
If you can design a clean, usable interface in Figma and then build it yourself in React and Flutter and want to grow inside a firm building real fintech products alongside its consulting practice, this role is for you.
What You Will Do
UI/UX Design in Figma
Design wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI screens in Figma for web and mobile applications. Own the design process from concept to design system, layouts, components, spacing, states, and interactions, before a single line of code is written.
Figma-to-Code Implementation
Convert your own (or existing) Figma UI designs into pixel-accurate, responsive React (web) and Flutter (mobile) code. You own the full translation from design to functioning interface.
Full Stack Web Application Development
Build and maintain web applications end-to-end, frontend components, API integration, state management, and where needed, backend/API work to support the features you're building.
Cross-Platform Mobile Development
Develop and maintain Flutter applications for iOS and Android from a single codebase, ensuring consistent behaviour and performance across platforms.
Design System & Component Architecture
Build and maintain a reusable design system in Figma, and mirror it in code through reusable, maintainable component libraries, so new screens and features can be designed and built faster without duplicating work.
API Integration & Data Flow
Integrate frontend applications with REST/GraphQL APIs, third-party services, and internal systems (including Zoho and FinBowl/PEMS). Understand how data moves through the application, not just how to display it.
Performance & Quality
Optimise for load time, responsiveness, and smooth interactions. Write code that is testable, debuggable, and doesn't break under real-world use.
Collaboration with Product & Stakeholders
Work closely with product owners and, where relevant, clients, to understand what's needed, design it, validate it, and then build it, closing the loop yourself instead of handing off between design and dev.
Deployment & Handover
Ship features to production, document your work, and ensure both the Figma files and codebase remain understandable and maintainable for whoever touches them next.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of Figma — wireframing, prototyping, component-based design systems, and handoff-ready files.
- Strong working knowledge of React (hooks, state management, component design) and Flutter/Dart for cross-platform mobile development.
- Proven ability to take a product requirement, design it in Figma, and then build it into responsive, accurate frontend code, end to end, without significant rework.
- Full stack comfort — you can work with APIs, basic backend logic, and databases, even if your primary strength is frontend and design.
- Understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, and state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, Riverpod, Provider, or similar).
- Strong eye for UI/UX fundamentals — visual hierarchy, spacing, usability, and consistent interaction patterns.
- Automation and tooling mindset — comfortable with Git, CI/CD basics, and writing code that scales beyond a single feature.
- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll work directly with product owners, and occasionally clients.
- Experience with mobile app store deployment (Play Store/App Store) is a plus.
- Prior experience designing and building fintech, CRM, or ERP-adjacent applications is a strong advantage.
Who Should Apply
Candidates with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design (Figma) combined with React and Flutter development. Freshers with an exceptional portfolio (Figma designs paired with shipped code) and strong communication skills will also be considered. Must be based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.
