Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with 2–4 years of experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, generators, and heavy equipment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reducing downtime, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, generators, and heavy machinery
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Repair or replace defective parts such as injectors, pumps, filters, and valves
- Conduct routine servicing (oil change, filter replacement, lubrication)
- Maintain service records and report major issues to supervisors
- Ensure minimal downtime through effective troubleshooting
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain 5S standards in the workshop
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Diesel Mechanic / Mechanical Engineering
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in diesel engine maintenance
- Knowledge of engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical components
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Basic communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
