We are looking for an energetic sales professional who can convert travel inquiries into confirmed bookings and help customers plan their dream Himalayan adventures.
Job Overview
We are hiring a Telecaller / Travel Sales Executive who will be responsible for handling incoming leads from Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), WhatsApp inquiries, and website forms. The role requires strong communication skills, sales ability, and consistent follow-up to convert interested travelers into paying customers.
The ideal candidate should be confident on calls, understand customer psychology, build trust quickly, and close bookings effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Handling & Conversion
- Handle daily inbound leads from Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, WhatsApp, and website inquiries.
- Call customers within the defined response time and understand their travel requirements.
- Qualify leads based on:
- Travel dates
- Destination preference
- Budget
- Number of travelers
- Trip expectations
- Recommend suitable Himalayan trips, treks, and packages.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings.
Sales & Follow-ups
- Follow up with interested customers through calls, WhatsApp, and messages.
- Handle customer objections related to price, dates, safety, and competition.
- Create urgency using limited seats, departure dates, and special offers.
- Maintain a healthy lead-to-booking conversion ratio.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain proper lead records and update customer status in CRM/Google Sheets.
- Tag leads according to sales stages (Hot/Warm/Cold).
- Keep customers engaged until final payment and departure.
- Coordinate with operations team for booking confirmations and customer requirements.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and convincing skills.
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to close deals.
- Good listening skills and customer handling ability.
- Comfortable making 50+ calls daily.
- Strong follow-up discipline.
- Basic knowledge of WhatsApp Business, CRM, Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to work with sales targets and incentives.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in telecalling, inside sales, travel sales, or customer support.
- Experience handling Meta/Facebook/Instagram leads preferred.
- Passion for travel and adventure activities.
- Positive attitude, confidence, and willingness to learn.
