Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to ensure the
quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
manual testing, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering bug-free applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to develop comprehensive
test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual test cases across web and mobile applications and log defects accurately.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure
requirements are fully tested.
- Track and report testing progress, test results, and quality metrics.
- Retest bug fixes and verify resolved issues.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Masters or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of manual testing experience in web and mobile applications.
- Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, etc.
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Basic SQL knowledge for database testing.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with automation concepts.
- Understanding of ISO Standards: Knowledge of relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 27001
and 27701) and their application in the workplace.
