Role Summary
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for generating leads, developing relationships, and closing orders for marine HVAC, refrigeration, and container solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities across marine refit, offshore platform HVAC/refrigeration, AMC contracts, and offshore container projects.
· Build and maintain a pipeline of shipyards, ship owners, offshore operators, defence (Navy / Coast Guard) establishments.
2. Field Sales & Client Engagement
- · Conduct regular site and office visits to clients, prospects, and project locations.
- · Meet purchase, projects, and technical teams to understand requirements and present Pioneer Marine's capabilities.
- · Carry out preliminary site assessments and coordinate technical site visits with the engineering team where needed.
3. Relationship & Account Management
- · Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business, AMC renewals, and referrals.
- · Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and upcoming projects.
4. Reporting & Coordination
- · Maintain daily/weekly/monthly call reports, visit logs, and an updated sales pipeline.
- · Provide sales forecasts and report progress to the Sales/Business Head.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in any discipline/MBA; a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related engineering field is an advantage.
- Experience: 2–4 years in field sales, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, marine/offshore equipment, industrial products.
- Licence: Valid driving licence; willingness to travel extensively.
- Travel: Local and outstation travel to shipyards, dockyards, offshore service bases, and client offices
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
