About IFA Boutique
IFA Boutique is a growing ladies’ fashion boutique specializing in fabrics, custom stitching, designer wear, bridal & party wear, and personalized fashion solutions.
We are looking for a creative, confident and commercially minded Fashion Designer who wants to grow together with the brand and play an active role in developing new collections and customer experiences.
Candidates with strong practical skills and good creativity may also be considered based on their portfolio and practical test.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who can do more than just create sketches.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Good knowledge of ladies’ fashion and current trends
- Strong creativity and design sense
- Good understanding of fabrics, colours, patterns and combinations
- Ability to develop designs based on different customer requirements and budgets
- Knowledge of ladies’ wear, party wear, casual wear and designer outfits
- Understanding of cutting, stitching and garment finishing
- Ability to work closely with tailors
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Ability to understand what designs are commercially suitable for the boutique
- Willingness to participate in photoshoots, Instagram Reels and product presentations
- Confidence to appear in front of the camera and introduce fabrics, designs and new collections
- Interest in creating behind-the-scenes fashion content
- Ability to contribute ideas for Instagram, WhatsApp and other marketing activities
- Positive attitude, responsibility and willingness to learn
Key Responsibilities
Design & Product Development
- Create new ladies’ wear designs and collections
- Develop outfit ideas from available fabrics
- Suggest suitable designs based on fabric type, colour and customer requirements
- Develop festive, seasonal and occasion-based collections
- Work with the tailoring team to ensure proper execution and finishing
Customer & Sales Support
- Understand customer preferences
- Help customers select suitable fabrics and designs
- Suggest styling and customization options
- Recommend designs according to customer budget
- Identify opportunities to increase stitching and product sales
Content & Social Media
- Present new fabrics and collections in Instagram Reels
- Introduce products naturally in front of the camera
- Participate in behind-the-scenes videos
- Show the design → cutting → stitching → final-look journey
- Help create fashion-related content for Instagram and WhatsApp
- Participate in customer feedback/testimonial videos when appropriate
Business Development
- Suggest ideas to improve collections and customer experience
- Identify slow-moving fabrics and suggest ways to transform or market them
- Study customer preferences and recommend new products
- Help develop IFA into a stronger local fashion brand
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
