Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. The candidate must possess a valid commercial driving license (Badge License) and have hands-on experience driving light commercial vehicles such as Tata Ace and Ashok Leyland Dost. The ideal candidate should be punctual, disciplined, and committed to ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including Tata Ace and Ashok Leyland Dost.
- Transport goods to customer locations as per the assigned schedule.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections before starting duty.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Follow traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure timely loading and unloading of materials.
- Maintain trip sheets, delivery records, and fuel logs accurately.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Coordinate with the transport office regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure the security and safe handling of goods during transit.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a commercial vehicle driver.
- Must possess a valid LMV Transport Driving License with Badge (Commercial Badge License).
- Experience driving Tata Ace and Ashok Leyland Dost is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding districts.
- Basic ability to read and understand Tamil (English knowledge is an added advantage).
- Physically fit and willing to work flexible hours when required.
- No history of serious traffic violations or criminal records.
