About the Role
Spectrum Ingredients Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented Sales Executive to drive business growth in the Perfume & Fragrance segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets while promoting our fragrance and aroma ingredient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition
- Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within the perfume, fragrance, personal care, and related industries.
- Conduct cold calls, networking activities, and market outreach to build a strong customer pipeline.
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable fragrance and ingredient solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales & Business Development
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales deals.
- Expand business within existing accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Product Knowledge & Presentations
- Develop in-depth knowledge of fragrance ingredients, aroma chemicals, and company product offerings.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
- Effectively communicate product benefits and value propositions.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market opportunities and customer requirements.
Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business opportunities.
- Submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in Perfume, Fragrance, Aroma Chemicals, Essential Oils, Flavors & Fragrances, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of fragrance applications and market trends.
- Existing network within the fragrance, cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
