Job Summary:
Sky Ocean Shipping is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records. The candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and preferably experience in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting transactions, invoicing, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on collections.
- Prepare bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.
- Record and monitor shipping-related income and expenses.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with Operations and other departments on billing and accounting matters.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Assist with VAT/tax compliance and audit requirements.
- Support the Accounts Manager in day-to-day financial activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in shipping/logistics.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, MS Excel, and ERP/accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
