Key Responsibilities
Contract Management & Legal Documentation
Draft, review, vet, and negotiate various agreements including:
o
EPC Contracts
o
Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
o
Vendor & Supplier Agreements
o
Lease Agreements
o
NDAs & Service Agreements
o
Joint Venture / Partnership Agreements
Ensure contracts are legally compliant and aligned with business objectives.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Handle civil, commercial, arbitration, recovery, and contractual disputes.
Coordinate with external counsels, advocates, and legal consultants.
Represent or assist the company in legal proceedings before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.
Manage legal notices, replies, petitions, and documentation.
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government policies related to:

Renewable Energy Sector
o
Corporate & Commercial Laws
o
Land & Property Matters
o
Labour Laws
o
Regulatory Approvals & Licensing
Liaise with government departments, DISCOMs, and regulatory authorities.
Land & Project Legal Support
Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition, leases, and project development.
Verify land titles, property records, approvals, and statutory documents.
Support legal aspects related to solar project execution and infrastructure development.
Corporate Legal Advisory
Provide legal opinions and risk assessment to management.
Assist management in strategic legal decision-making.
Maintain legal records, case files, and compliance documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
Advocate enrollment with Bar Council preferred.
5–10 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, infrastructure, EPC, energy, or real estate sectors.
Strong understanding of contract law, arbitration, litigation, and corporate legal frameworks.
Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters efficiently.
