Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored effectively to the requirements of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps,IaC skills (Bicep or Terraform) and hands-on experience with Azure platform infrastructure
- Experience for using GIT version control system and commands
- Experience for using Azure DevOps tool (repositories, pipelines, and boards)
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Ability to work with cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Able to build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Helm in OpenShift or other Kubernetes platforms like AKS.
- Understands how to automate builds and deployments using Dockerfiles, build configurations, and container image registries.
- Basic understanding of GitOps principles and tools like Argo CD for managing infrastructure and application deployments through Git.
- Able to design and enable CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure (IaC) and applications deployment, including build, testing and deployments into multiple environments
- Strong background in DevOps practices and operations, like application release management, version control, and automation (e.g,. Version bump) and repository management
- Able to deploy and managed self-hosted agent pool infrastructure and images
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
