ob Summary:
The Heat Pump Engineer is responsible for installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of heat pump systems and solar water heating (SWH) systems. The role ensures efficient operation, optimal performance, and timely resolution of technical issues at client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission heat pump systems and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as compressor failure, gas leakage, sensor faults, and electrical problems.
- Carry out condenser coil cleaning, chemical descaling, and tank cleaning activities.
- Check and maintain refrigerant gas levels; perform gas charging and leak testing.
- Inspect pipelines, valves, and fittings; identify and repair leakages.
- Monitor system parameters such as temperature, pressure, and performance efficiency.
- Replace faulty components such as compressors, sensors, expansion valves, and controllers.
- Maintain proper service reports, logs, and documentation for each site visit.
- Coordinate with clients for scheduling visits and explaining technical issues and solutions.
- Ensure safety compliance while handling electrical systems and refrigerant gases.
- Support installation and maintenance of solar water heating systems when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in heat pump systems, HVAC, or hot water systems.
- Strong knowledge of compressors, refrigerant systems, and heat transfer principles.
- Hands-on experience in gas charging, leak detection, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with tools like pressure gauges, multimeters, and temperature sensors.
- Basic understanding of solar water heating systems is an added advantage.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for site work.

Pay: ₹16,789.29 - ₹51,470.28 per month
