Job Summary:
Zana by the Ganges is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality products, negotiating with vendors, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement processes including vendor identification, evaluation, and onboarding
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs
- Ensure timely procurement of goods while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and documentation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Track market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality or retail
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in hospitality procurement
- Knowledge of local vendors and supply markets in/around Rishikesh
- Cost optimization and vendor management expertise
