The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site workers.
- Monitor manpower deployment and productivity at the site.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and report progress regularly.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Verify material receipt, usage, and storage at the site.
- Maintain daily site reports, attendance records, and work progress reports.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with engineers and management for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline.
- Assist in project measurements, billing verification, and work certification.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction site supervision.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Familiarity with quality and safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting.
