Purpose of the Position
Carry out assigned trade-specific fabrication, installation, electrical, mechanical, material-handling, and support activities at project sites safely and correctly under the direction of the Site Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend toolbox talks, understand the assigned work, and follow approved drawings, instructions, permits, and safety precautions.
- Perform work applicable to the assigned trade, including welding, fitting, drilling, support fabrication, cable work, electrical work, or general assistance.
- Use tools, welding machines, grinders, drills, crimping tools, ladders, lifting aids, and PPE only when authorized and trained.
- Assist with installation of panels, instruments, supports, trays, conduits, junction boxes, cables, glands, earthing, and related accessories.
- Measure, mark, cut, fabricate, assemble, tighten, terminate, dress, clean, and finish work to the required quality standard.
- Protect instruments, panels, cables, finished surfaces, tools, and materials from damage, contamination, moisture, or loss.
- Report defects, unsafe conditions, incorrect materials, drawing discrepancies, tool damage, and work constraints immediately.
- Support inspections, continuity checks, loop checks, testing, commissioning, punch-list closure, and rework as directed.
- Maintain good housekeeping, segregate scrap, return unused materials and tools, and keep access routes clear.
- Record attendance, completed work, material usage, and tool issue/return accurately as required.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
