Job Summary
We are looking for a skilledAssistant Maintenance Manager with hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Moulding machine maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting machine issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plastic injection moulding machines
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
- Ensure maximum machine availability through effective maintenance planning
- Monitor machine performance and implement corrective improvement actions
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns efficiently to reduce downtime
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and spare parts inventory
- Coordinate with production teams for smooth machine operations
- Support installation, commissioning, and servicing activities when required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement and predictive maintenance initiatives
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of plastic injection moulding machines
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, PLCs, electrical panels, and pneumatics
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Knowledge of machine safety and maintenance standards
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in automotive or plastic manufacturing industry preferred
- Ability to work in shift operations and handle shop-floor maintenance activities
- Strong coordination and problem-solving capabilities
