About the Role
Alpha Elevators is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth, develop customer relationships, and expand our presence across South India. The ideal candidate should have experience in the elevator industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for elevator installation, modernization, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and repair services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, architects, consultants, contractors, facility managers, and corporate clients.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with technical, operations, and installation teams for project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM records.
- Travel extensively across South India to meet customers and develop new business.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2–5 years in Business Development or Sales.
- Preferred Industry: Elevator, Escalator, Building Automation, Construction Equipment, Engineering Services, or Building Materials.
- Experience in elevator sales, modernization, or AMC sales will be an added advantage.
Mandatory Requirements
- Fluency in English, Kannada- Mandatory (Tamil and Hindi also preferred)
- Willingness to travel frequently across South India.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
