Job Summary:
The Principal will provide overall academic and administrative leadership for Playgroup (PG) through UKG, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and stimulating early-learning environment. The role is responsible for curriculum delivery, child development outcomes, staff supervision, parent engagement, and compliance with early-childhood education guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day academic and administrative functioning of the Playgroup (PG) through UKG.
- Ensure age-appropriate curriculum planning and delivery in line with NEP/NCF guidelines for the foundational/early-childhood stage.
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise teachers, coordinators, and support staff for PG through UKG.
- Monitor classroom teaching, learning outcomes, and child assessment practices; conduct regular classroom observations.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of young learners.
- Plan and oversee co-curricular activities, school events, and celebrations appropriate to the age group.
- Build strong communication and engagement with parents through regular updates, meetings, and grievance redressal.
- Ensure compliance with child safety norms, health and hygiene protocols, and statutory requirements applicable to the wing.
- Conduct staff training and professional development sessions focused on early-childhood pedagogy.
- Coordinate with the school administration and management on admissions, infrastructure, and resource planning for the wing.
- Prepare and present academic performance reports and improvement plans to CTO and CEO.
Qualification and Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject discipline.
- B.Ed. or M.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 08 to 10 years of teaching/academic experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a Pre-Primary/Early Years setup.

- Strong understanding of early-childhood education and foundational literacy/numeracy practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and parent-handling skills.
- Team leadership and staff mentoring capability.
- Patience, warmth, and a child-centric approach to leadership.
- Sound knowledge of early-years curriculum frameworks and child safety/compliance norms.
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
