We are seeking an experienced OT In-Charge to lead and manage the Operation Theatre department. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient OT operations, coordinating surgical procedures, supervising OT staff, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Operation Theatre activities and staff.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth surgical operations.
- Ensure OT readiness, including equipment, instruments, and consumables.
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Manage OT schedules for elective and emergency surgeries.
- Supervise OT documentation, records, and inventory management.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of OT equipment.
- Train, guide, and evaluate OT nursing and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM / Diploma or Degree in OT Technology.
- Minimum 3–5 years of Operation Theatre experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and OT protocols.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
