BrainoidTech is looking for a creative and motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students, recent graduates, or aspiring designers who want to gain hands-on experience in designing websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will work closely with our design and development teams to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences. You will gain exposure to real client projects, industry-standard design tools, and modern design practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for websites and mobile applications.
- Support the design team in developing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for projects.
- Conduct basic research on competitors, design trends, and user experience best practices.
- Help maintain design consistency across projects by following style guides and design systems.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Create simple graphics, icons, and visual assets when required.
- Assist in reviewing designs and identifying opportunities for usability improvements.
- Learn and apply responsive design principles for various devices and screen sizes.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a course, degree/diploma in Design, Computer Applications, Computer Science, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with Adobe XD.
- Understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of wireframing and prototyping.
- Understanding of responsive design concepts.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Interest in user research and usability testing.
