Job Overview
The Technical Network Executive will be responsible for handling marketing activities for IT and networking services, with a strong focus on MIDC (industrial area) marketing and business development. The role requires a candidate who understands both sales/marketing and technical aspects of networking services, enabling them to effectively pitch solutions to industrial clients.
This is a field-oriented role involving client visits, industrial area coverage, lead generation, and closing deals, along with coordination with the technical team for execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. MIDC Marketing & Business Development
- Plan and execute marketing activities in MIDC and industrial areas.
- Visit industries, offices, and commercial clients to generate leads.
- Identify potential clients for internet services, networking solutions, and CCTV systems.
- Build strong relationships with industrial clients and decision-makers.
2. Technical Sales & Client Handling
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable networking, internet, and surveillance solutions.
- Provide basic technical explanations of services and solutions to clients.
- Coordinate with the technical team for feasibility and project execution.
- Handle negotiations and assist in closing deals.
3. Lead Generation & Conversion
- Generate consistent leads through field visits, references, and networking.
- Maintain follow-ups and convert leads into business.
- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
4. Site Visits & Coordination
- Conduct client meetings and site visits for requirement understanding.
- Coordinate with technical engineers for surveys and installations.
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution team.
5. Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain records of leads, client visits, and sales using Excel / Google Sheets or CRM.
- Track daily activities, conversions, and performance.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management.
6. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals.
- Handle client queries and coordinate with support teams when required.
QualificationsExperience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in marketing or sales (preferably in IT, ISP, or networking industry)
- Experience in MIDC or industrial area marketing is mandatory
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or related field (preferred)
Skills Required
- Strong sales and marketing skills
- Basic understanding of networking, internet services, and CCTV systems
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle field marketing and client meetings
- Knowledge of Excel / CRM tools for tracking leads and sales
Requirements
- Must have own bike for field visits
- Must have own laptop for reporting and communication
- Willingness to travel within and outside the city, especially across MIDC areas
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets
Working Hours
9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Additional hours may be required depending on client meetings and business needs.
