Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance activities and ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and supervision of maintenance technicians and fitters.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical maintenance activities across the plant
- Attend and resolve machine breakdowns in a timely manner
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Monitor maintenance of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Guide and supervise fitters, technicians, and contract manpower
- Coordinate with production team to minimize machine downtime
- Ensure availability of critical spares and maintenance consumables
- Maintain maintenance records and daily activity reports
- Ensure safe working practices and proper housekeeping in maintenance areas
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Breakdown troubleshooting and root cause identification
- Team supervision and shop-floor coordination
- Preventive maintenance planning and execution
Eligibility
- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, foundry, fabrication, steel, cement, or heavy engineering industry
Preferred Joining
Candidates who can join within 15 days will be preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
