We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to manage front desk operations and ensure a positive experience for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage patient registrations, appointments, and follow-up schedules.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Maintain patient records and update information accurately in the system.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback appropriately.
- Manage billing support, payment collection, and issue receipts when required.
- Monitor waiting times and keep patients informed about delays.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with healthcare regulations.
- Prepare daily reports related to appointments, patient visits, and front office activities.
- Support administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Executive, or Customer Service Executive (Healthcare experience preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle patients and visitors with empathy and professionalism.
- Good typing and data entry skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts when required.
