Label Artwork Designer

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented label designer with 1–2 years of experience in Adobe
Illustrator. The primary responsibility of this role is to update and manage existing
packaging and label artwork files. The artwork designs and concepts will already be
available; the candidate will be responsible for making content updates, text changes,
alignments, placements, and preparing print-ready files.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail and experience handling
packaging artwork in a production-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Update existing packaging and label artwork files using Adobe Illustrator.
Modify product information, ingredients, nutritional values, regulatory declarations,
barcodes, and other content as required.
Ensure proper alignment, spacing, placement, and formatting of all artwork elements.
Prepare print-ready artwork files as per printer specifications.
Verify dimensions, die-lines, bleed areas, and print requirements before final approval.
Coordinate with internal teams to implement artwork changes and obtain approvals.
Maintain proper artwork version control and organized file management.
Conduct detailed artwork checks to ensure accuracy and compliance before releasing
files for printing.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (Mandatory).
Good understanding of packaging artwork and print production processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of typography, alignment, spacing, and layout principles.
Ability to work efficiently with existing artwork templates and brand guidelines.
Basic understanding of barcode placement and packaging specifications.
Qualifications:
Any Graduate / Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, DTP, or a related
field.
1–2 years of experience in packaging artwork, label artwork, pre-press, or DTP
operations.
Experience in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Packaging industries will be
preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Detail-oriented and process-driven.
Capable of handling repetitive artwork modifications with high accuracy.
Able to manage multiple SKUs and artwork versions simultaneously.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with regulatory label content will be an added advantage.
