Job Purpose :
Product Management ,Governance, Analytics and Client Lifecycle Lead
Key Accountabilities
- Performance Analytics & Insights: Lead the analysis of LAP product performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. This includes designing and executing robust data analytics strategies to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the LAP product lifecycle, such as portfolio health, acquisition rates, churn, and profitability.
- MIS & Business Dashboards: Formalise performance reports, management information systems (MIS), and dynamic business dashboards to provide actionable insights to senior management and product teams.
- Tech Journeys & Client Lifecycle Management: Optimize the end-to-end client journey for LAP customers, from acquisition and onboarding to servicing, retention, and off-boarding, ensuring a seamless and superior customer experience through digital transformation and technological enhancements.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for LAP governance, analytics, and tech journey matters with internal and external stakeholders, including Compliance, Operations, Technology (including local tech teams), Risk, Audit, Legal, and Business teams.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Product Governance & Compliance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks for the Loan Against Property product, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
Job Duties & responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive product governance policies, procedures, and controls for the LAP portfolio.
- Ensure all LAP products and processes adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines and internal compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Technology team to ensure data integrity, implement analytical tools, and support system enhancements related to LAP products and client data.
- Work proactively with the Compliance and Risk teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with LAP products and operations.
- Represent the LAP product function in various governance forums, audit reviews, and regulatory discussions.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives with Operations to streamline processes, resolve operational bottlenecks, and improve service delivery for LAP customers.
- Engage with Marketing and Sales teams to refine client acquisition strategies and product positioning based on analytical insights.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
- Foster a collaborative environment, effectively managing relationships and expectations with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation within the LAP client lifecycle to enhance efficiency and customer experience
Required Experience :
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in product management, governance, business analytics, or a related field within the retail banking or financial services industry
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects and leading small to medium-sized teams
Education / Preferred Qualifications:
CA or MBA qualification from a reputed institution

- Process Orientation: Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and a drive for continuous improvement, particularly in optimizing tech journeys.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage change effectively.
Technical Competencies :
- Basic understanding of Loan Against Property product mechanics, valuation, and operational flows.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements specific to Loan Against Property (e.g., RBI norms, LTV ratios, interest rate caps, etc.).
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial and business performance metrics effectively for MIS and dashboards.
- Familiarity with banking technology landscapes and the ability to work effectively with local and regional tech teams for system enhancements and data extraction.
Work Relationship:
This role will involve extensive interaction with:
- Internal: LAP Sales Team, CBG COO Team, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, Technology, Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other relevant business units.
External: Regulatory bodies (as required), auditors, and potentially external vendors or consultants.
