Job Description
CD International School is looking for an experienced and responsible IT Head to manage the school's complete IT infrastructure, MIS operations, online portals and technical support.
The ideal candidate must have strong practical knowledge of MIS, UDISE+, CBSE portals, school ERP and day-to-day school IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the school's complete IT infrastructure and technical operations.
- Manage and maintain MIS and school ERP systems.
- Handle UDISE+ portal work, student/staff data and online submissions.
- Handle CBSE Portal / SARAS and other CBSE-related online work.
- Maintain and update student, staff, attendance and academic data.
- Coordinate with school management for CBSE, UDISE and other education-related portal requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and data reports as required by management.
- Manage computers, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors and smart-class equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows and networking issues.
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity and basic network infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CCTV and security systems.
- Manage backups and ensure important school data is properly maintained.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
- Provide technical support to teachers, administrative staff and management.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and records.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems across the school.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant IT / School IT experience preferred.
- Must have practical knowledge of UDISE+ portal.
- Must have practical knowledge of CBSE Portal / SARAS.
- Strong knowledge of MIS and school ERP systems.
- Experience in handling student and staff databases.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, networking and internet troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CCTV, printers, projectors and smart-class systems.
- Good Excel skills, including data management and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage the school's IT and MIS requirements.
Qualification
- B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with school IT administration experience will be preferred.
Salary
₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
