TECHNICAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – FACADE & BUILDING ENVELOPE

We specialize in aluminium glazing systems, curtain walls, ACP cladding, skylights, roofing systems, automatic doors and customized facade solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Development Manager who possesses both strong commercial acumen and in-depth technical understanding of facade systems.
Key Objective
The primary objective of this role is to identify, develop and secure facade, glazing and building envelope projects across domestic and international markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities, developing client relationships, converting leads into projects and contributing directly to company revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and secure new facade and building envelope projects.
- Generate RFQs from developers, architects, consultants, PMC firms and main contractors.
- Develop business opportunities in US, Europe and African markets.
- Build relationships with key decision makers.
- Create and maintain a strong project pipeline.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis.
Technical Sales
- Understand curtain wall, unitized facade, ACP cladding, skylights, aluminium windows and doors, structural glazing, louvers and roofing systems.
- Participate in technical discussions with architects and consultants.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Coordinate with estimation and engineering teams for proposals.
- Present technical solutions to clients.
Client Management
- Conduct client meetings and presentations.
- Manage project pursuits from enquiry stage to contract award.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and proposal submissions.
- Maintain CRM records and sales reports.
International Business Development
- Develop relationships with overseas developers and contractors.
- Attend trade exhibitions and industry events.
- Explore partnership opportunities with consultants, contractors and distributors.
- Conduct virtual presentations with international clients.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology or related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years experience in facade, glazing, aluminium systems, cladding or building envelope industry.
- Proven record of securing facade projects.
- Existing network among architects, consultants, developers and contractors preferred.
- Experience in international markets is highly desirable.

Fixed Salary + Project acquisition incentives
