Job Summary
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales operations within the assigned territory, achieving sales targets, handling distributors, expanding market coverage, and leading the sales team to improve business growth and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Appoint, manage, and support distributors and dealers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and key customers.
- Monitor and improve product availability and visibility in the market.
- Lead and supervise Sales Executives and field sales staff.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and competitor activities.
- Implement sales promotions, schemes, and marketing activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from distributors and customers.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with distributors for smooth supply management.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
- Resolve customer and distributor issues promptly.
- Ensure proper execution of company sales policies and strategies.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Good knowledge of FMCG market operations.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
