Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret marine structural plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Material Preparation: Measure, mark, cut, and grind steel plates, pipes, and beams using plasma cutters, saws, and presses.
- Assembly & Fitting: Align and fit hull frames, bulkheads, decks, and structural brackets before final joining.
- Welding: Perform tack welding and basic joining operations to secure components.
- Repairs: Fix or replace damaged sections of ship structures during dry dock or afloat maintenance. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Pay: ₹600.00 - ₹1,900.00 per day
