Let's Help Bring Precision Oncology to More Patients
Company: Datar Cancer Genetics (DCG)
Department: Precision Oncology / Sales & Medical Strategy
Locations: Delhi (North Zone) · Bengaluru (South Zone) · Mumbai (West Zone) · Kolkata (East Zone)
Role type: Individual Contributor · Field-based with regular travel
The Mission
Precision oncology changes outcomes only when the right science reaches the right clinician at the right moment. At Datar Cancer Genetics, the Techno-Commercial Lead – Oncology sits at exactly that intersection — combining science, strategy, relationship-building and commercial ownership.
DCG's CellDx-Tissue is the first non-US comprehensive genomic profiling platform for both DNA and RNA to receive US FDA clearance and to be made available for cancer patients in India.
This is a strategic, field-based role for professionals who can translate complex genomic science into clinical confidence and territory growth. You will drive scientific conviction and commercial adoption of DCG's NGS, Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP), Liquid Biopsy, MRD and Multiomics profiling products across your assigned territory — building awareness and clinical trust among oncologists, cancer hospitals, molecular tumour boards and key opinion leaders, and strengthening DCG's position as a leader in precision oncology diagnostics.
The role calls for a strong combination of oncology scientific knowledge, healthcare professional (HCP) engagement, field execution, commercial ownership and market intelligence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead scientific discussions with oncologists, pathologists, molecular tumour boards and key hospital stakeholders on NGS, CGP, liquid biopsy, ctDNA, MRD, RNA profiling, immunotherapy biomarkers and multiomics-based treatment selection.
- Promote DCG's precision oncology portfolio through evidence-based scientific selling, supporting clinicians in understanding the clinical utility of genomic and multiomics testing.
- Own territory-level commercial growth — trust-based account development, consistent business and product-wise revenue generation.
- Conduct regular field visits to hospitals, oncology centres and key accounts across the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, high-potential oncologists and institutional decision-makers.
- Organise and support virtual events, advisory boards, round-table meetings, CMEs, hospital programmes and conference presentations.
- Gather 360-degree market insight on key accounts, competitor activity, patient potential, pricing sensitivity and institutional opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal medical, sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth stakeholder engagement, strong brand positioning and compassionate patient experience.
- Represent Datar Cancer Genetics as a credible and trusted scientific partner in precision oncology and build the company's brand in the market.
Performance is assessed on territory and product-wise revenue growth; the number and quality of active KOLs and key accounts developed; adoption of DCG's NGS, CGP, liquid biopsy, MRD and multiomics products; the quality of scientific engagement; execution of advisory boards, round tables, CMEs, webinars and conferences; the quality of market insight generated; and the strengthening of DCG's brand as a trusted precision oncology partner.
