Plantoora's. We handle residential and commercial projects across Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. As part of our growing team, we are looking for a Landscape Designer/Draftsman.
Experience
- Fresher or 1 year of experience in residential and commercial landscape design/Draftsman
Qualification
- Degree / Diploma in Landscape Architecture,Draftsman, Horticulture or any related field
Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- experience in residential and commercial landscape design
- Good knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and ground covers suitable for local climate
- Understanding of hardscape elements such as paving, pergolas, decks, and water features
- Ability to prepare landscape layout plans, planting plans, and detailing drawings
- Basic knowledge of irrigation and drainage systems
- Understanding of local regulations related to landscaping
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of SketchUp or 3D visualization tools is an added advantage
Job Responsibilities
- Design landscape concepts for residential projects
- Prepare detailed landscape layout drawings and planting plans
- Select suitable plant species based on site conditions and design intent
- Prepare working drawings and details for site execution
- Support material selection for landscape works
- Conduct site visits to review execution and ensure design compliance
- Coordinate plant nurseries
- Revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions
- Maintain proper project documentation and records
