We are seeking a responsible and experienced Commercial Driver to transport electrical equipment and materials safely and efficiently. The candidate will ensure timely delivery, maintain vehicle condition, and comply with all transportation and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (truck/tempo/pickup) for transporting electrical goods.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials to clients, project sites, and warehouses.
- Verify delivery documents such as invoices, challans, and e-way bills before dispatch.
- Load and unload materials carefully to prevent damage to electrical equipment.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while optimizing fuel and time efficiency.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights).
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep.
- Report any vehicle issues, delays, or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Adhere to traffic rules, company policies, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain logbooks and records of trips, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
- Assist in basic warehouse or logistics tasks when required.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
