Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of industrial consumables, manufacturing tools, vendor management, and sourcing. The candidate must be capable of identifying new suppliers, negotiating competitive prices, and ensuring the timely procurement of quality materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage suppliers, sourcing, and vendor relationships.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Coordinate material planning and inventory control to avoid shortages.
- Ensure the quality and specification compliance of all purchased materials.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, documentation, and procurement reports.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Possess sound knowledge of industrial consumables, manufacturing tools, and engineering materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local manufacturers and suppliers.
- Identify and source new materials and vendors based on production and business requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare supplier offers, and recommend the most suitable procurement options.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Continuously explore new sourcing opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs, and shorten lead times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–8 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial consumables, manufacturing tools, and vendor sourcing.
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement activities efficiently.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
