Job Title: MAB Technician
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Location: Plant (Kandivali West MIDC)
Reporting To: Production Executive / Production Manager
Job Purpose
To operate and monitor the Manufacturing & Blending (MAB) process for ice cream production by ensuring accurate ingredient mixing, process control, hygiene, food safety, and timely batch preparation while meeting quality and production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MAB tanks, mixers, pasteurizers, homogenizers, and related process equipment.
- Prepare batches according to approved recipes and batch manufacturing records (BMR).
- Verify and weigh ingredients accurately before charging into the process.
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and mixing time.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and FSSAI requirements.
- Carry out CIP (Clean-in-Place) and sanitation activities as per SOP.
- Record production data, process parameters, and batch details accurately.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance for sampling and batch release.
- Minimize process losses and ensure maximum yield.
- Report equipment abnormalities and support preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain 5S standards and a clean work environment.
- Follow all food safety, personal hygiene, and EHS procedures.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in dairy, beverages, food processing, or ice cream manufacturing.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may be considered for trainee roles.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of dairy and ice cream manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of pasteurization and homogenization.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA/HMI operation.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and food safety practices.
- Ability to interpret SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records.
- Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹28,263.06 - ₹38,895.37 per month
