Job Overview
We are seeking a warm, passionate, and creative Art Teacher (Course Instructor) to inspire children (ages 4 to 12) through the globally recognized globalart methodology. In this role, you will help young learners build creative confidence, master step-by-step drawing and coloring techniques, and develop critical problem-solving skills in a fun, positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, interactive art sessions following the structured globalart curriculum and guidelines.
- Guide students in fundamental drawing, proportion, color blending (oil pastels, color pencils, paints), and creative composition.
- Facilitate worksheets, activity books, and hands-on art projects suited to each learner's age and pace.
- Mentor children patiently, encouraging original thinking, self-expression, and imagination without taking over their work.
- Track student progress, manage classroom discipline with warmth, and provide periodic, encouraging feedback to parents.
Qualifications & Skills
- Artistic Aptitude: Solid foundation in drawing, sketching, and coloring. Strong personal passion for visual arts.
- Child-Centric: Warm, patient, and approachable demeanor with natural ease around young children.
- Communication: Clear communication skills (English proficiency required; fluency in Tamil is a strong plus).
- Experience: Prior experience in art teaching, early childhood instruction, or leading creative workshops is a plus (freshers with a genuine passion for teaching and drawing are welcome to apply; comprehensive methodology training will be provided).
- Location: Must be able to reliably commute to our center in Kelambakkam.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Weekdays: Late afternoon & evening batches
- Weekends: Morning & evening batches(Flexible options available depending on the number of batches assigned)
