Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document the condition of neonates in the NICU.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and specialized treatments as prescribed.
- Operate and monitor equipment such as ventilators, incubators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Provide respiratory support and assist with emergency procedures and resuscitation when needed.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and feeding tolerance.
- Support infant nutrition through breastfeeding assistance, bottle feeding, gavage feeding, or total parenteral nutrition (TPN).
- Educate and support parents regarding infant care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive neonatal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and continuing education programs.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred (requirements vary by employer).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- NICU experience preferred; some hospitals offer NICU residency programs for new graduates.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹44,678.22 per month
