We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our Mobile applications.
Job responsibility:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Can build elaborate, extensive, state of the art apps from scratch.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Skills:
- 3+ years experience with architecture, design and development of Android applications(natively)
- Solid understanding of Android development process from beginning to end
- Familiarity with the latest Android SDK and Google development tools, especially their latest version, especially Android version 5.
- Very good knowledge of Java programming language, JavaScript and JQuerry
- It would be highly valuable if the developer has worked with XML, JSON and REST services
- You’re a self-starter, highly effective working independently and within a team
- Experience in using SQLite
- Experience using Git for source control
- Addiction to Trello-like collaboration environments
Requirements:
- BTech renowned engineering colleges only, preferably IIT
- 4+ years of proven working experience in Mobile App development and Android development.
- Have published one or more Android apps in the app store.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of web-services and HTML5
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
