Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter Cum Programmer to set up, operate, and program CNC/VMC machines for precision component manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of machining processes, programming, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up CNC/VMC machines (tools, fixtures, offsets)
- Develop and modify CNC programs (G-code / M-code)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Monitor machining processes and ensure accuracy
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Select appropriate cutting tools and parameters
- Troubleshoot machine and program issues
- Maintain quality using measuring instruments
- Follow safety and production standards
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC operations
- G-code & M-code programming skills
- Blueprint reading ability
- Knowledge of machining tools and materials
- Experience with measuring instruments
- Problem-solving skills
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical or related field
- Experience: 4 to 8 years
Salary & Benefits
- ₹25,000 – ₹35,000/month (based on experience)
