Job Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient team performance, and compliance with company standards. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, managing inventory, and contributing to the achievement of operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise restaurant staff, assign duties, and monitor performance during shifts.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching restaurant employees.
- Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and shift allocation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Assist in managing inventory, stock levels, ordering, and supplier coordination.
- Monitor cash handling, billing, daily sales reconciliation, and POS operations.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving revenue, cost control, and profitability targets.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of dining areas, kitchen coordination, and restaurant equipment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or food and beverage operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
