We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented ITI Fresher to join our Quality Department as a Quality Inspector – Casting.
The selected candidate will be trained to perform visual and dimensional inspection of cast components at in-process and final inspection stages. The role is suitable for candidates who have basic mechanical knowledge and are interested in building a career in Quality Control and Manufacturing.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in visual inspection of castings during in-process and final inspection.
- Learn to identify common casting defects such as cracks, blow holes, porosity, sand inclusion, shrinkage, dents, and other surface defects.
- Perform basic dimensional inspection of components as per drawings and specifications after proper training.
- Learn and use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Steel Scale, and gauges.
- Check components for required dimensions and identify deviations.
- Record inspection results accurately in inspection sheets and quality records.
- Inform the Senior Quality Engineer/Inspector about defective or non-conforming components.
- Assist in segregation of OK, Rework, and Rejected components.
- Support the Quality team during in-process and final inspection activities.
- Learn to understand basic engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Maintain proper inspection records and documentation.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality team members to resolve basic quality-related issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the inspection area.
Candidate Requirements:
- ITI qualification in Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, or relevant trade.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components and measurement.
- Willingness to learn quality inspection and casting processes.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of computers will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.
