Purpose
Oversee daily store operations, manage inventory, and lead staff to ensure smooth material flow and accurate stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages or excess.
Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and issue materials. Ensure proper storage and labeling as per safety standards.
Documentation: Maintain GRN, issue slips, bin cards, and update ERP/stock registers daily. Track material consumption.
Coordination: Liaise with purchase, production, and quality teams on material requirements and delivery schedules.
Safety & 5S: Enforce housekeeping, safety protocols, and maintain an organized, clean store area.
Reporting: Submit weekly stock status, shortage reports, and slow-moving/non-moving inventory to management.
Requirements
Education: Diploma/Graduate in any discipline. Materials Management certification is a plus.
Experience: 3-5 years in stores/warehouse, preferably in manufacturing/trading.
Skills: Knowledge of inventory software like SAP/Tally/ERP, MS Excel, basic accounting, strong attention to detail.
Attributes: Organized, reliable, able to lift material as needed, good communication with vendors and internal teams.
Working Conditions
Full-time, may require overtime during month-end or stock audits.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
