Requirements:
Technical competence:
- Experience in the field of product documentation in OEM’s / Tier 1 suppliers
- Expertise in engineering BOM and structure level
- Should have good knowledge on any PLM tool and basic life cycle of parts release.
- In depth understanding of automotive systems i.e., functional relationships of automotive systems and components
- Good understanding of product development process (planning, development, production, pre and after sales etc…)
- Knowledge of “Mercedes Benz” cars portfolio will be an added advantage
Professional skills:
- Ability to interact and work with the German teams
- German communication is desirable
- Good team playing skills and ability to work independently with little supervision
- Knowledge of “Mercedes Benz” cars portfolio will be an added advantage
- Excellent in communication and coordination
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and assertive skills
- Good in MS Excel and power point presentation skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Product Data Management/Release tasks based on customer requirement
- Creating BOM and maintaining product documentation for all Mercedes-Benz - car lines by understanding business requirements and interacting with German counter parts
- Consultation with design engineers and understand the intent of engineering change notice. Perform standard part creation using UnigraphicsNX
- Cross functional responsibility to coordinate with process and method team and maintain quality standards as required
- Ensure knowledge is shared across the team members
- To manage risks and issues impacting project deliverables
- Seamless integration with the Team in India & Germany
