Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planning & Vendor Management Manager to coordinate production activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely execution of customer orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, vendor allocation, order tracking, material coordination, and daily production reporting to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan production schedules based on customer orders, priorities, and committed delivery dates.
- Prepare, maintain, and update daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor daily production progress and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Coordinate and follow up with vendors and job work units to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Allocate order quantities to vendors based on their production capacity and capabilities.
- Ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, accessories, and other production materials.
- Track order status from production to dispatch and proactively address potential delays.
- Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and vendors.
- Maintain accurate production records, vendor performance data, and order tracking reports.
- Prepare and share Daily Production Reports (DPR) and vendor progress updates with the management team.
- Work closely with sourcing, merchandising, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor vendor performance with respect to quality, delivery, and capacity utilization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce lead times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Textile, Apparel, Fashion Technology, Production Management, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in production planning, vendor coordination, or garment/apparel manufacturing.
- Experience working with job work vendors and external manufacturing units is preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple orders and work under tight deadlines.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
