Role Summary: The sales manager is responsible for driving membership sales, revenue growth, and lead conversion at the fitness centre. The role includes managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, ensuring excellent customer experience, and achieving monthly and annual sales targets. The sales manager will also focus on lead generation, member engagement, corporate tie-ups, and retention strategies to maximise gym membership growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
Achieve monthly and annual membership sales targets.
Drive gym membership sales, personal training packages, and add-on services.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase centre revenue.
Monitor daily sales performance and track conversion rates.
2. Lead Management & Conversion
Manage leads generated from walk-ins, digital campaigns, referrals, and corporate tie-ups.
Ensure timely follow-ups with prospective members.
Convert enquiries into memberships through effective sales presentations.
Maintain accurate records of leads and conversions in the CRM system.
3. Team Management
Lead, train, and motivate the fitness consultants / sales executives.
Monitor team performance and provide sales coaching and guidance.
Conduct daily sales huddles and performance reviews.
4. Customer Experience
Ensure excellent customer service and member engagement.
Handle customer concerns related to memberships and services
.Maintain high member satisfaction and retention levels.
5. Corporate Sales & Partnerships
Develop corporate partnerships and institutional tie-ups.
Organise fitness events, promotional campaigns, and outreach programmes.
Build strong relationships with local businesses and communities.
6. Sales Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Analyse sales trends, lead sources, and conversion ratios.
Provide insights to management for improving sales performance.
